How To Change Your Hearing Aid’s Filter
DID YOU KNOW that a blocked wax filter is almost as common as a dead battery?
Regular cleaning & maintenance of your hearing aid is an excellent way to ensure that you’re always giving yourself the best hearing experience possible.
Follow along with our guide below for a look at how you can change out your Hearing Aid’s Wax Filter.
1. Prepare Your Tool
The tool itself has two pins. The first one is empty and intended to be used for wax filter removal, the other pin will have a new wax filter.
2. Remove Wax w/Tool
Push the empty pin into the wax filter in the speaker and pull it out.
3. Insert New Wax Filter
Insert the new wax filter (found on the other pin), then you may remove the tool and dispose of it.
4. Final Step
The speaker should look clean and unobstructed, as seen in the final image, when you have finished replacing the wax filter.
